Requirements

Must Have

5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
Production LLM workflow design — Demonstrated experience building reliable, repeatable pipelines in which LLMs perform defined tasks (e.g., generation, classification, summarisation) within structured production systems.
Integration engineering — Proven track record of connecting internal stacks, third-party APIs, and internal tools through automated pipelines with LLMs embedded at appropriate points. Able to read, debug, and modify code and model output in Python and/or TypeScript.
Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
Solid experience with React.js and modern frontend development (hooks, TypeScript, state management, modern build tooling)
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of your daily development workflow
Experience designing REST APIs and microservices
Solid understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Familiar with Docker and Git workflows
Working knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright) and/or backend testing practices
Experience writing effective prompts and building reusable workflows with AI dev tools (custom commands, rules files, agent configurations)
Familiarity with integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into product features
Experience working with PHP/Laravel applications or migrating legacy systems to modern architectures

Responsibilities

Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualise and implement software solutions end-to-end.
Build elegant, performant APIs and event handlers on the backend.
Develop and maintain well-functioning datastores and services.
Build and iterate on frontend features using React, delivering clean and responsive user interfaces.
Proactively propose and implement improvements across the codebase — backend and frontend alike.
Actively explore and integrate AI tooling into your day-to-day workflow to accelerate development, improve code quality, and reduce toil.
Mentor other engineers to support their growth, including sharing best practices around AI-assisted development.
Design and code solutions for systems handling a high volume of transactions per second.
Collaborate with high-performing cross-functional teams to revolutionise the product.
