Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in a Quality Engineering role where you have been using automation to build test platforms out at scale on large web-based applications
Proven, hands-on experience with writing, running and maintaining Cypress tests (TypeScript) in CI/CD pipelines
Excellent analytical skills and experience in testing complex business rules through the creation, documentation and subsequent execution of well-written test plans that cover key user journeys and edge cases both by manual and automated means
Writing and running API tests
Proficient with JavaScript and TypeScript
Proficient in SQL
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written & verbal communication skills
Desirable skills/experience
Testing across multiple language geographies
Non-functional testing (performance and accessibility)
Familiar with PHP, Python or React
Proficient with DataDog

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain our automated regression testing suite (written in Cypress) for key user journeys and beyond
Help us optimise and ensure that our regression suite is operational in CI/CD pipelines across our test environments
Help us establish new tools and evolve existing processes to help our team continue to efficiently test as we continue to scale internationally
Help our teams work towards building and maintaining a healthy pattern of automated test coverage
Be a quality mentor that infuses the team with testing best practices and process improvements throughout the SDLC
Manual testing if/when required (we believe in an automation-first approach but sometimes manual is required)
Work closely with your engineering team throughout agile sprints
