01 Product Owner

Requirements

• At least 7 years experience as a Product Owner with efficient business analysing skill in a fast-paced, online business.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and lean approaches.

• Excellent ability to gather and document requirements, and to translate them into user stories.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Adept at stakeholder management and building strong collaborative relationships.

• Proficient in using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.

• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Driven, ambitious, and eager to grow with the company.

• Excellent English skills both verbal and non-verbal.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work with stakeholders, including Product Managers and business owners, to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.

• User Story Creation: Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.

• Backlog Management: Assist in the creation and maintenance of the project backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritised, and ready for upcoming sprints.

• Sprint Planning and Facilitation: Play a key role in sprint planning meetings, helping the team to understand the scope of work and to break down tasks effectively.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact between stakeholders and the engineering squad, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, risks, and changes.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project processes and workflows, promoting efficient and effective agile practices.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise both qualitative and quantitative data to understand user needs, inform requirements, and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and other teams across the business to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and to facilitate successful project delivery.
